But in spite of the great reviews this book has received, I can’t say I loved it, either. I haven’t read the other books in the series, but if they’re as lacking in humor, romance, and emotion as this one is, that’s probably a good thing. There didn’t seem to be much chemistry, not much romance, certainly nothing to hold a reader’s interest. It would have been twice as good, in half the time. There was a whole lot of nothing going on for a whole lot of miles.I won’t belabor the endless typos that made it very difficult to slog through. Well, the WRITING did that, but the typos certainly didn’t help anything.For me, this is a no. I’ll be passing on the other books in this series, as well.
